dinner menu as gordon ramsay's twin separated at birth
As we're all perfectly aware, I'm a master chef and always have been. So, what does a master chef cook herself and her grateful girlfriend all week after gallivanting about the town and girl-bossing all over the place? I'm so glad you asked. Here's the menu:
ʚ ═══・୨ Jan 5-11 ୧・═══ ɞ
- Turkey burgers with potato wedge fries.
- Spiced chicken and cheese quesadillas with taco bell imitation sauce (siracha, mayo, paprika, cumin, garlic powder).
- Indian coconut curry with chickpeas and pan-fried green pepper over rice.
- Fancy mac & cheese (shell pasta with a creamy cheese sauce and spinach).
- Chickpea, spinach, and diced green pepper rotini pasta with lemon.
ʚ ═══・୨ Jan 12-18 ୧・═══ ɞ
- Spicy mayo salmon bowls with sweet chili cucumber salad.
- Honey sriracha turkey meatballs with rice and pan-fried zucchini.
- Sweet soy glazed spam musubi (seaweed and rice bites).
- Asian ground turkey bowls with roasted zucchini over rice.
- Fancy ramen (scallions and cubed ham with a sweet soy, honey, and garlic sauce over instant ramen)
- Chicken salad wraps (chicken salad: shredded chicken, mayo, mustard, celery).
I hope this was helpful in giving you some ideas if you're wondering what to cook next week! Most of these recipes don't take more than 30 minutes and my grocery bill is always cheap because Aldi exists and I refuse to pay extortionate amounts when foods like instant ramen or canned goods can be made "fancy" with a few spices or sauces you can make at home. Don't be afraid to get creative and try new things, or reinvent recipes to make one ingredient (like a bag of green peppers or a pack of ground turkey) work all week. Being cheap doesn't have to mean being boring, and my broke college ass has proved that with my excellent chefing abilities.
I don't really follow any recipes and mostly make things up as I go and Google along the way, but I'd be more than happy to write up a recipes if you'd like, just email me!
